Mrs. N. J., 46 year old lady, reported to us for the treatment of cancer of the left breast. She had previously been under our treatment for Cervical Spondylitis about 5 years prior to this episode and had been successfully treated for the same at that time. This time when she reported to us for the lump in her left breast, her detailed interview was conducted.
She remarked that she missed her father and his love and support right since childhood. Her father expired when she was only seven years old. Her mother and her paternal uncle looked after her and her siblings. As she grew up, she realized the difficulties of life. When she was 13, along with her studies she had to look after the needs of her siblings and cook for them.
She got married immediately after she finished her studies. She and her husband had good understanding between them. They had three daughters; the last pregnancy was accidental. When she realized about the pregnancy, she felt very bad, was depressed and immediately rejected the child. The third daughter was very slow mentally and physically which was a big shock to the patient.
Her stress started about a year before the development of the breast lump, when she got the news that her mother and her grandmother both were suffering from cancer of breast. She could not take this shock and this expressed in the form of a lump in the left breast. The physician explained to her that the case was clear and could be helped with the homeopathic medicines but her family doctor and her Oncologist scared her to death. She was rushed to hospital for mastectomy, radiation and chemotherapy.
She developed complications of chemotherapy and radiation all the hair were gone, the body was succumbing to infections, she lost 15 kg and her hope of recovery started dwindling gradually. At this point, she turned to homeopathy.
Based on the above history, she was prescribed a dose of Lachesis 200. she reported a week later with improvement in her appetite and some weight gain. After 3 weeks, the blackish discoloration on the skin started changing. At the end of 8 weeks, she had gained 4 kg and the glow on her skin had come back. The improvement in her health continued and she recovered completely over a period of time.
About a year later, her husband suddenly developed severe myocardial infarction and died soon thereafter. 3 months later, she developed a lump in her right breast. This time, she directly came for homeopathy. Few doses of Lachesis helped her to recover completely. Today 2007, the patient is alive and healthy. She is going for her regular walks and living a normal life without any health problems.
